Peter Santisi, O.D.
Dr. Peter Santisi is a native Floridian, born and raised in Merritt Island. Following graduation from Merritt Island High in 1989, Dr. Santisi joined the U.S. Navy where he served as a hospital corpsman. Dr. Santisi received an Associate in Arts degree from Brevard Community College (Eastern Florida State College), a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor of Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2006.
Dr. Santisi has been practicing Optometry in Merritt Island since 2006. He offers comprehensive eye exams for glasses and contact lenses. In addition, Dr. Santisi treats and manages glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye syndrome, and cataracts.
Dr. Santisi is a member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and Brevard Optometric Association. In addition, Dr. Santisi is a member of the American Optometric Association Cornea and Contact Lens Section and the Sports Vision Section. He is currently serving as Vice President for the Florida Optometric Association. Dr. Santisi is an active member in the community as a member of the Rockledge Lions Club.
